Finke/Sealake June 2012

The Finke and Sealake events have both been run and won. Both places had plenty of DNF’s which I am sure will make great stories to tell. Aaron James in the Pro-Lite 101 finished Finke 4th outright and 1st in class. James Madden, after an altercation with a tree, finished 9th in the Pro Class. Bruce Muir was a finisher at Finke in his new Commodore Ute. At Sealake, Matthew Heywood (navigating for Scott Gould) was our only finisher. Both tracks had an enormous amount of DNF’s and there are a lot of broken vehicles to fix before Waikerie.
